About Taradale AFC:
We are a passionate football club located in the Hawkes Bay region of New Zealand committed to fostering talent, encouraging community engagement, and competing at the highest local levels. We are seeking motivated, experienced, and qualified individuals to join our team and help drive the club forward.
Key Requirements:
- Hold a minimum OFC/NZF B License or an international coaching license equivalent.
- Proven experience in football coaching and/or development.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with players, coaches, club officials, and the wider community.
- A passion for developing players at all levels and contributing to club success.
Role Responsibilities:
Football Development Manager:
- Oversee the development pathway for players within the club, with a focus on the new Whole of Football Programs and the CDL and pre academy teams.
- Implement coaching and holiday programs across age groups.
- Support coach education and development.
- Work closely with club management to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
First Team Men’s Coach:
- Lead coaching and tactical preparation for the First Team Men’s squad playing in the Central League 2 Competition.
- Develop training sessions to improve team performance.
- Manage match-day strategy and team selection.
- Foster a positive, professional team environment.
