Our Story

With a rich and diverse history, TAFC continues to deliver it's own blend of family values, enduring friendship and on-field success to the Hawke's Bay community. We pride ourselves on the warm welcome to the club, especially younger players looking for a place to call home.

We're incredibly proud not only of the history & success behind the club, but more importantly the future direction for aspirational players wanting to grow their game. With personal and on-field player development at the heart of the club's ambitions, we're already achieving incredible results in Men's and Women's football, including both Premiership and Federation League titles for 2022 in the men's and women's games respectively!

The future is looking bright and exciting with our 2022 Women's Federation team being promoted to the Capitol Football W-League, and our senior men eyeing success in their Federation League campaign for 2023.

"We are here, and we are stronger than ever. Our performances in Junior’s, Men’s and Women’s football continue to be envied by a lot of other clubs and we seem to continue to achieve beyond our expectations, and certainly beyond our means. We certainly aren’t done yet though. As a committee and a club we would still love to field a men's and women's team in every local competition and beyond."
